USP

It’s incredibly important to focus on what makes you unique, what sets you apart from other companies like you? Why should clients come to you instead of going elsewhere, what is it that you can offer that makes your product/service different from all of the other companies out there? Is it your product? Your location, your values? Focus on these key aspects of your business and it will do you wonders..

What are the benefits?

It’s worth noting how clients will benefit when they use your product or service, what will they gain from using your business compared to someone else? This ties in with what makes you different to everyone else. Focus on your unique selling point and how your clients will benefit from using your service compared to others and you'll have a better understanding of what aspects to focus on throughout the marketing process.

Who?

Who is your target audience? Posting content aimlessly won’t work, you need to know exactly who you want to target your posts too. Who are your audience, who will use/buy your products/service? To pinpoint this you will need to spend time working and generating your audience, ensuring the content you create and produce will ensure it will appeal to your audience.

Where?

Where will you advertise your thought out content? Where will you find your target audience? Again more time and resources will need to be put into this to ensure you're able to find the platforms your core audience use. Once you've found the platform your target audience is using, utilise it. There is no point posting on platforms such as Snapchat or Instagram if your audience isn't there. Not only will you be wasting your time but your resources too.

Relevance

Your content must always be relevant to your product/service/brand. Every single thing you post online should in some way relate your business goals. That doesn't mean you can't share other articles or post motivational quotes, they just need to be relevant to your business goals and values. Not only does it need to be relevant to your business, but it also needs to be relevant for the platform. Some things work on Twitter that just wouldn't work on Facebook or your website.

These tips are just to help you make sure you are doing what you can to ensure your thoughtful, relevant content is being targeted to the right people on the right platform to ensure you're doing everything right to get people clicking on your social posts and interacting with your business.

The more thought out the business and marketing strategy, the better chance you will have at improving your conversions.Once you've been consistent with your strategy you should soon start to see it reflected in your social interactions and business interest and conversions.
